WorldSkills Is Presented During The National Confederation Of Industry Meeting

Os 2 September, during a meeting led by Ropson Braga, President of the National Confederation of Industry, Simon Bartley and David Hoey presented WorldSkills to the 27 state Brazilian Federations of Industry.

From 11-16 August 2015, Brazil will host the 43rd WorldSkills Competition, the greatest vocational education and skills excellence competition in the world at Anhembi Park in the city of São Paulo. Approximately 1,200 registered Competitors from 63 countries and regions are expected to participate. They will compete in 50 different skills related to trades, technologies, and service-oriented careers.

​Interesting news was recently published in the media about Jaques Lewcowicz, founding partner at Lew ´ Lara\TBWA – one of the largest advertising agencies in the world, hired as an intern at Google. At the age of 70, the renowned professional decided to work for the greatest online search engine, after speaking to 200 people at their Brazilian office, beginning a great relationship. "Lew" wasn´t working with advertising for almost a year, since he sold his shares in the Agency, and now he decided to learn even more in life and chose this skill exchange opportunity provided by the project.

Executive Vice President of Samsung, Dr. Ji Oh Song, visited Brazil with the exclusive purpose of signing a sponsorship agreement for the world's largest professional education event, WorldSkills Competition, to be held in August for the first time in Brazil. The President of WorldSkills, Simon Bartley, and the General Director of SENAI, Rafael Lucchesi, were also present.
