We would like to thank everyone that participated in the 2015 WorldSkills Conference Programme that was recently held in conjunction with WorldSkills São Paulo 2015.

The Conference Programme was a huge success and when we added up all the attendees from all the sessions we had over 1,800 from dozens of countries and regions around the world. Leaders in education, government, and industry participated and networked in the six-day Programme.

We would now like to share with you the presentations and videos from the various session.


Conference Days

11 AUGUST 2015: SENAI AND INDUSTRY EXCELLENCE

Participants had a chance to walk through the doors of SENAI schools and Brazilian industries. They had the opportunity to see first-hand the best practices used to educate the next generation of Brazilian skilled workers. More info.

12 AUGUST 2015: FUTURE TRENDS

Representatives from international agencies came together to discuss international cooperation and development. This panel discussion offered insight into best practices around the world and provided an opportunity to exchange ideas. More info.

13 AUGUST 2015: THE FUTURE OF SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND EXCELLENCE

The WorldSkills Leaders Forum was a powerful future looking keynote that got participants thinking about skills, labour, and demands in the next decades to come. More info.

14 AUGUST 2015: GLOBAL POLICIES AND INNOVATION

The Brazilian Minister of Education and his international colleagues discussed cooperation, experiences and best practices in the world of VET. This seminar exchanged success stories and strategies on professional education and training to help close gaps that may exist throughout the world. More info.

15 AUGUST 2015: SKILLS DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES

This session featured a series of shorter presentations focused on innovation, future skills, technical cooperation, and international skills development. Sessions were designed and delivered by WorldSkills Members and Partners as well as international leading organizations. These sessions demonstrated how to cooperate and create important connections to improve the VET world. More info.

16 AUGUST 2015: EXPLORE SÃO PAULO

Participants discovered Brazilian culture while touring the city of São Paulo. More info.

WorldSkills São Paulo 2015, the world's largest professional education event, begins registrations for the Volunteer Programme.

The "One School One Country" programme is part of WorldSkills São Paulo 2015 and is intended to foster interaction between the Competitors and students from local schools in order to promote education and vocational training.
