Technical Meeting

28 December 2014

From 25-27 November, in São Paulo we hosted the Team Leader Working Group that brought together the Team Leaders from Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, Denmark, Singapore, Brazil and United Arab Emirates.

During the meeting, items such as lodging, transportation, catering, One School One Country were presented and discussed.

The Team Leaders had the opportunity to visit Anhembi Park, the Competition venue, Ibirapuera Gymnasium, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies venue, and Estância Atibainha Hotel, destination for the Competitors’ excursion. .

“These days with the participating Team Leaders were very useful. They shared their last Competitions experiences and helped to define some guidelines for WorldSkills São Paulo 2015. “We are very excited for the 43rd WorldSkills Competition”, said Jane Stokie, Technical Director of WorldSkills International.

From 28-30 November, the technical team of the Organizing Committee hosted WSI Members for the Technical Working Group (TWG). The meetings was focused on revising the layout, Competition rules, infrastructure list, sustainability, and other technical matters relating to the success of the Competition.
