How did you get interested in your skill?
Early on in Secondary school I stumbled upon this graphic design thing.
After visiting my first graphic design studio in my hometown, I became
hocked. From that day on I knew I want to become a graphic designer.
Where did you do your training for your skill?
I learned everything during my apprenticeship in the agency Screenlounge
AG in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. I learned a great deal from my former Co
Workers therefore they have been very influential to all my work.
How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
I read about Worldskills Liechtenstein in the Newspapers. Worldskills are very dominant in media, so you cannot possibly get past it.
Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
There are a lot of influences. Despite people that influence me, I am
inspired by all kind of things that are surrounding me. Nature,
technology, children, places, music and food, which can inspire as well, are a significant source of inspiration.
What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
I like being part of this years delegation. Working together to achieve
the same goal suits my understanding of being successful.
Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
There will be a lot to come.
Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
It has been pretty good.
Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Well it is not unuseful, but I can't say I will improve a great deal. In the competition I have to work over-precisely and I have to ignore my sense of questioning everything. Usually, I breakdown every project by questioning everything and getting to its "spirit". You can't do that at Worldskills if you want to score all the points.
What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I am working at an agency called Leone Ming Est. in Schaan, Liechtenstein
as a graphic designer.
What are your future career aspirations?
In this years fall I will start studying Industrial Design at the
university of applied arts in Vienna. That and a part-time job will keep me busy for the foreseeable future.
