1. How did you get interested in your skill?
A friend of mine worked at a school where they teach CNC-Milling as a profession

2. Where did you do your training for your skill?
At my school, my work and at home.

3. How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
When my school asked to participate at the national championship.

4. Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
My school and my work

5. What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
I participated in the Dutch championship and the Euroskills.

6. Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
Becoming European champion

7. Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
My experience is that you learn so much just from participating that it’s totally worth all the time and effort you put into it.

8. Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Yes, I’ve learned to work under pressure, keep calm and focus when I need to.

9. What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I am CNC-operator / programmer at PM Aerotec BV.

10. What are your future career aspirations?
I’d like to become workshop leader or something like that. I would like to help, educate or troubleshoot.
