1. How did you get interested in your skill?
Well, that is very simple, just somebody loved playing with construction kit many years ago.
Where did you do your training for your skill?
Most of the training part was self-preparation, after which I my results were quite good at the National competition. Then professionals were in charge of our training.
How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
That is the first when Belarusian team participates in this competition. That is why when organizers started to look for the people, who were ready to participate, I found out this information in the college I studied at that time.
Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
The construction kit, of course. And my parents did a great job too.
What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
It was interesting so far, very helpful in terms of self-development. I’m looking forward to find out what awaits me in future.
Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
I think the moment when I won National competition was the most memorable one.
Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
We’ve done so much work since I started participating in this programme, so all I can see is progress. However, I hope that I will manage to do even more by the time of the competition.
Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
As I have mentioned before I devote a lot of time to training and developing in this particular skill, though I do not consider it as a future career. It’s more like a hobby to me.
What do you currently do? Where do you work?
At the moment I work as a consultant-technician at the faculty “Technology of Mechanical Engineering”, Belarusian National Technical University.
What are your future career aspirations?
I am also engaged in self-education in an area unrelated to this skill. That is why it is rather hard to answer this question precisely.
