How did you get interested in your skill?
Some of my relatives are also carpenters so I decided also to get a carpenter. At home we have a farm with a forest and I really like to work there with the timber, that was also a reason why I decided to get a carpenter

Most of the time at home

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
My cousin has also been to Worldskills in the year 2009 and there I found out the first time about the member organization and there programs

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
My cousin and my friends

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
My experience with the member organization are really good.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
It was the Teamcoaching seminar in Lachstatt

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
I had a lot of new experience since involvement with WorldSkills. I met a lot of people and I learned a lot about their skills and their jobs. And I also got new friends there.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Yes it did. There I learned to handle better with the pressure of time and also how to handle with the viewers there.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I’m working usually on a building site and there we make the wood constructions for the houses. I’m working for the company Lieb Bau Weiz

What are your future career aspirations?
In the wintertime I’m going on a higher school for carpenters. This school has three semesters and two of them I have already finished. And this winter I want to finish the school.
