The "Visitor Experience" project promises to surprise participants

17 April 2015

Improving and increasing the visitor experience - These are the main objectives of the "Visitor Experience" project, which includes various actions, visitor routes, guided and educational tours, parallel events, a Conference Programme, digital platform, etc. The project intends to provide as much knowledge possible, regarding professional skills education and the Competition in a fun and interactive way, for the public at Anhembi Park.

Find out more about some actions:

Knowledge Spot

A spot located in each of the skill areas, where visitors can experience interactive activities that provide knowledge and help develop capacities related to the skills.

Ambassadors will participate in these activities (represented by teachers and students from SENAI/SENAC), helping to guide visitors about the skill and Competition, as they use traditional tools, 3D simulations and watch videos that reflect the skills and professions related to each one.

Visits

Two hundred thousand students from SENAI, SESI, public schools, private schools and professional education institutions (accompanied by their teacher) are expected to visit the Competition.

There will be different visit routes for each audience; including various areas within Anhembi Park. The goal is to organize the flow of students (between 12 and 15 years old) as well as their access to the event.

Prior to the very educational visit, teachers will receive educational materials so that they can develop classroom activities. Thus, young people will have the opportunity to relate curriculum content (mathematics, language, natural science and social science) with information about the Competition skills.

These are pioneer activities for WorldSkills Competition and will help teachers and students develop general and specific knowledge through interdisciplinary activities.

Cyber

Cyber is a 500m² area, including a food court with many food trucks, a climbing wall, interactions, various educational games and spots for resting and reading.

We will provide more details about the Visitor Experience project soon. Stay tuned!
