Competition Preparation Week ends successfully

After five days, the Competition Preparation Week has come to the end. During the last week, over 400 participants have been at Renaissance Hotel, in São Paulo to discuss the main skill preparation details for WorldSkills São Paulo 2015.

There have been several meetings and technical visits which served to address questions and clarify important aspects of the Competition. Among those present were Delegates, Chief Experts, Workshop Managers, Organizers, Sponsors, Partners and specialists, from 53 countries and regions.

“After five days, we are extremely pleased since all the concerns and issues that needed clarification were tackled to fulfill the requirement of the Competition,” said José Luis Leitão, Technical Delegate of Brazil.

Evening Programme

Every day guests were offered special dinners, where they had a chance to learn a little more about the culture and the Brazilian gastronomy. In the programme, the Capim Santo restaurant, considered one of the best Brazilian restaurants; Fogo de Chão, a traditional rodizio style steak house, with different cuts of meat from the south of Brazil, and finally the Pizza bar Leona, a typical pizza house in São Paulo, with different types of dough and over 40 flavours of savoury and sweet pizzas.

“As the Deputy CEO of Competition Organizer, I would like to thank you all for coming to Brazil to support and guide us at this important moment before our big event,” said Gustavo Rosa.
