How did you get interested in your skill?
I’ve always wanted to do my own cloths design, because I don’t usually find what I like in the shops, so I decided to learn about Fashion Technology. This opportunity is a short cut way to reach my goal.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
I did the training in my school ATHS Abu Dhabi campus.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
I heard about it from my fashion technology teacher Ms Sabine Storch.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
People around me influenced me a lot and run way shows on TV inspired me as well. It’s my goal to meet the judges and the designers from ‘Project Runway’.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
They have been very supportive with me, provided me a professional teacher to develop my skills and I am able to use professional fashion equipment.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
I am one of luckiest girls in the UAE, because they pick me to represent my country in the WorldSkills. It’s a big responsibility but I’m willing to do my best and to work hard. I am very excited to compete with other competitors in WorldSkills Brazil.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Yes, absolutely it helped me to develop my skill to a higher and more professional level and to work on my weakness .

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I just graduated from school, ATHS Abu Dhabi campus.

What are your future career aspirations?
In the future I want to have my own fashion studio and to have one of the best clothes shop in the world .
