How did you get interested in your skill?
I have always been interested in my skill because I like to do things to serve others.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
My trainning was at my school, CIFP Compostela in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, North West
Spain. This is a state-funded school.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
I saw a leaflet in the hall of my school with information about WorldSkills and decided to sign up for it.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
A teacher and a friend who I trained with for other competitions were the people that influenced me to pursue my skill as a career.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
My experience was fine, I shared four days with my fellow competitors and I learned from them.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
So far the most memorable moment was when the jury said my name at the SpainSkills final. I couldn't believe it.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
My involvement with WorldSkills has allowed me to experience making new dishes in front of customers. I have also done napkin folding for the first time and improved my wine tasting with new wines and spirits. I can now identify more nuances. So far I have felt excited, nervous and a bit uneasy at times. WorldSkills is allowing me to meet new people

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill?Please describe.
Participating and training for WorldSkills has difinetly helped me progress in my skill by learning new things such as sustatnabthty aspects and I have also realised that different people may have different diets and needs.


What do you currently -do? Where do you work?
I currently work at a hotel called "Hostal de los Reyes Cat6licos" where I implement and practice what I am learning for the WorldSkills Competition. I am also training at my school with my teachers.

What are your future career aspirations?
In the future Iwould like to be a teacher to transmit what I know to others. Ithink I might need some more work experience but Iam motivated and enthusiastic and this is very important.
