Fook Lee Loh
Competitor in Skill: Cooking

How did you get interested in your skill?
Since young, my dad has been the person that I look up to. At around the age of 14, I followed my dad to his store and watch him cook. Along the way, the passion in me grew. I took the initiative to learn from him, and he would patiently teach me how to cook simple dishes such as Salted egg yolk prawn, Sambal Kangkong and fried rice. Upon the realisation of my dad working in the hot environment for long hours just to ensure that the family has meals to eat, I applied to a school with culinary course so that I could help him in the future.
