How did you get interested in your skill?
I was first exposed to my skill during my studies in Digital and Precision Engineering in my school, Nanyang Polytechnic. This exposure was what sparked my interest.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
I found out about it when I was invited to a seminar in Nanyang Polytechnic to find out about
the Digital and Precision Engineering diploma it was offering. This was just after I had completed my secondary education.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
My parents.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
It has been a fulfilling experience participating with my member organization.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
Being awarded with a Gold medal in Worldskills Singapore 2014.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills.
It has been both enlightening and rewarding. Besides allowing me to gain more technical skills and knowledge, it has also allowed me to better understand myself and my strengths and weaknesses.


Did participating-in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Yes. It has allowed me to receive more in-depth training in my skill as compared to my peers in school. I also had the opportunity to spend a significantly greater amount of time on hands-on practice as compared to them.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I am currently employed by my member organization, Nanyang Polytechnic. My main focus is on training for WorldSkills Sao Paulo 201 5, but I occasionally guide and assist students in completing their final year projects.

What are your future career aspirations?
I do not have any specific career aspirations for now. However, I do enjoy the process of passing on my knowledge to others and seeing them grow. Hence, I would be interested in a position that involves guiding others and passing on technical skills and knowledge to
them .
