How did you get interested in your skill?
It started off with my studies in Electrical Engineering with Eco-design at Nanyang Polytechnic where gained more interest as I learn more about Electronics during my course of study.
Where did you do your training for your skill?
I did all my trainings with lecturers at Nanyang Polytechnic.
How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
I received an invitation after my first semester in Nanyang Polytechnic.
Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
My family and friends ,who are in the same field of study, influenced my decision to pursue my current skill.
What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
Trainings with my lecturers have been a great experience as they gave me a lot of guidance and widen my knowledge which would be beneficial to my further studies.
Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
My most memorable moment would be the amount of support I got from my family and friends showed how concerned they are for me and standing at the top of the podium at WorldSkills Singapore closing ceremony.
Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills.
Trainings are fun and eye opening as I'm being exposed to lots of interesting circuits even though at times trainings are stressful, which I've learnt how to better manage my stress.
Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
My knowledge has been widened and it has helped me in determining which course of studies J would like to do in University.
What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I'm current preparing myself for the coming competition.
What are your future career aspirations?
My career aspiration would be to be a computer engineer that played a part in making a life changing technology for the world.
