How did you get interested in your skill?
I got interested in my skill since I was born, I’ve always been fascinated by the electricity and electronics world and I was curious to know more. After my 9th grade I started studying electronics
and since then I’ve loved doing robotics’ projects.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
I did my training at my school (ATEC).

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
I first found out about my Member organization in 2012 when I participated in Skills Portugal for the first time.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
I have pursued my skill as a career because I love what I do, nobody has influenced me.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
I participated in EuroSkills Lille 2014 and twice in Skills Portugal with my Member organization.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
My most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills was when I went up to the podium to receive a medal.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
WorldSkills makes us aware of our capabilities and our limits and to learn to deal with stress and emotions.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Yes, because it help has helped me overcome difficulties that I'm confronted with during the training sessions. Also I learn to work with new systems and materials.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I work in a factory and I am in charge of technical support in a production line. Also I’m studying Electrical and Computer engineering at night.

What are your future career aspirations?
With my participation in WorldSkills I hope to have promising career opportunities.
