How did you get interested in your skill?
I have studied electronics since tenth grade, as part of my high-school education (And later as part of my B.sc degree). When I was offered to participate in the perearation for WSI at 14th grade, I accepted it and was later chosen as the competitor.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
In my highschool , YATMAL, and partly in my university, Jerusalem’s College of Technology (JCT).

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
My electronics teacher is an expert, and he introduced me to the team that was preparing for the competition and the competition itself. I was later introduced to the rest of the team, in addition to the programmes and the rest of the information.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
I have no industrial experience at the skill, hence I wasn't influenced to pursue to any kind of career. However, as far as I'm concerned my future work will be vaguely related to electronics and computers.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
I have participated in the World Skills Russia competition in May of this year.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
The opening ceremony of the World Skills Russia; the pride when they announced ‘Israel’ as one of the participating foreign countries.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
I have joined a weekly studying group of electronics, in it we study and prepare for the competition. During the last two months I have been studying for even longer, dedicating most of my time for preparations. Generally, I have spent a major portion of my time studying electronics.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Obviously; I had some experience in electronics, but the training for WorldSkills has enriched my knowledge of the subject and helped me gain some practical knowledge that is related to my skill.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I am currently a senior student, studying for an Engineering degree in computer science. As for the moment, I don’t have a job.

What are your future career aspirations?
Serving in the army is mandatory in Israel; I hope to get selected to a unit whose tasks are related to computers. After the army, I will try to get a job in a high-tech company (possibly in a job connected somehow to my skill).
