How did you get interested in your skill?
This skill is practical. It links to daily life and gives me a sense of accomplishment.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
I did my training at Construction Industry Council.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
Through internet, newspaper and promotion in exhibition.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
There is a need of manpower for this skill in the market, and thus promotion possibility is high. It also provides me a sense of accomplishment and it is a profession.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
I learnt all-rounded knowledge of plumbing and use of tools.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
I know new knowledge in the plumbing profession, e.g. pipe materials, design practice, construction skills used and latest tools in foreign countries. My skill level is elevated.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
I know how to use new technologies and tools normally adopted by foreign countries.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Yes. Working speed and physical fitness have been improved. Dimension accuracy has been seized. Self-confidence and interpersonal skill have been enhanced.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I am currently a Plumbing worker and a WorldSkills competitor to prepare for the competition in August.

What are your future career aspirations?
I pursue working at plumbing works and hope to be supervisor in near future. Once I achieve my career goal, I hope to provide workers with more new equipment so as to alleviate working strain and eliminate construction time required.
