How did you get interested in your skill?
This Skills is highly related to my Final Year Project of my Higher Diploma Programme, which is engaging software and hardware to create a full production line. Therefore I was invited, and also getting interested to put the learning outcomes into this competition.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
After my graduation of Bachelor in Mechatronics Engineering , I went back to one of the campus of the vocational school, IVE, that I studied my Higher Diploma. I studied the theory in university, and practise it with the machines offered by vocational school.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
The mother company, VTC, of the vocational school is the Member Organization in Hong Kong. By coincidence, the supervising teacher of my final year project is one of the staffs that with experience in assisting Worldskils Competition , with no doubt , my teammate and I wee invited.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
I would like to say, all of my men surrounding me are supporting me to pursue my skills as a career. For example, our expert and interpreter, the committees in VTC , and the people who gave us technical support along our training path, they are all guiding us to practise more fo r taking a better occasional advantages.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organ ization?
Other than the technical support, the Member Organization, VTC, was holding a lot of meeting for reviewing the training process. The committees were experienced in joining WorldSki lls Competition and they are always actively sharing advices to my teammate and I.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
If I had to choose one, I would like to say it is the moment that I could initiate my first production module to make movements. I found my world was going to change since that small step.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with Wor ldSkills
I learnt a lot, I have learnt really a lot after I was being involved. The WorldSkills Competition provides a chance for all competitors to improving and enhancing themselves, both physically and psychologically. Studying outside of textbooks, communicating competitors from different skills and different countries. These are not any countable that I can explain in words.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for Wo rldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
After months of training , my skills in executing every task in the competition were improved with a significant change. For example , as a programmer, my thinking method is becoming more logical and rational. As a teammate , I can feel the team sprit is getting stronger day by day.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
Before the competition, I was using all my time for practising skills in campus. After that, I would choose to go further in my education path, study a master degree.

What are your future career aspirations?
If it is possible , my dream is to work in a production line for innovative product , to create useful tools for every man and woman. I am quite looking forward to that day.
