How did you get interested in your skill?
My interest in IT-Network Systems Administration started when I was about 11 years old while I learned web development and needed servers.
Where did you do your training for your skill?
I do my training most of the time at home. 3 years ago I started an apprenticeship in IT-Network Systems Administration, in which I still intensify my skills.
How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
I first find out about WorldSkills when my expert advertised the German championship.
Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
A lot of people who appreciated my work influenced me to pursue my skills. Especially my current expert motivated to keep up learning.
What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
My experience in participating with my Member organization was very good and organised so far.
Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
I already participated at the EuroSkills in Lille which was my most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills.
Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
Before I participated in the German championship I never heard of WorldSkills. Now I think that WorldSkills does an awesome job in promoting skills and education.
Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Especially the test projects helped me progressing in doing more tasks in less time because of the given time limit in it.
What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I am currently working at Leibniz University IT Services, but will start an integrated degree program at TUI InfoTec GmbH as IT business engineer in August this year.
What are your future career aspirations?
I want to further enhance my skills and study business informatics.
