How did you get interested in your skill?
I was at the WorldSkills Competition in Leipzig in 2013. It was great to see the competition and I thought that I will take part at the next competition in the skill electronics.
Where did you do your training for your skill?
I train in my company SICK AG in Waldkirch.
How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
The first time I heard something about my Member organisation when I began my training in my company in the year 2011.
Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
My trainer in my company and the competitor from the last WorldSkills competition.
What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
It’s great. The members of the organization support us as good as they can.
Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
My most memorable moment with WorldSkills was the national competition. It was great to win the competition and be qualified for the WorldSkills in Brazil.
Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
The experience is incredible. It’s so exciting to meet the other competitors from WorldSkills Germany and from other countries.
Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Of course it is a progress in my skill. Because in preparation you learn so much professional and to work under pressure. It’s an experience for life.
What do you currently do? Where do you work?
Currently I work as electronics in my company SICK AG and train there for the WorldSkills.
What are your future career aspirations?
After the WorldSkills I want to study electronics in Germany.
