How did you get interested in your skill?
I’ve been helping mom in the kitchen since I was a little kid and food’s always been interesting to me.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
I trained a lot to national qualifications and won them on December. Now I have all the portions ready and I’m competing against clock. I have also coach who is helping me.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
We had own team in my culinary school and I was first helping older competitors and then there was qualifications for the national competitions. After Nordic championship my coach asked about participate in WS qualifications in Finland.


Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
My parents and I also had very inspiring teachers at the culinary school.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
Well it’s always lot of work before competitions but I like it. And I also like to challenge myself.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
Without doubt it was the moment when heard that I won the qualifications in Finland.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills. 
It’s been nice journey so far but also some problems, but at the moment I’m feeling good.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
I’ve had to learn and practise techniques that’s been new to me.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
Currently I’m in the army but I was working differents restaurants in Helsinki.

What are your future career aspirations?
I want to work in abroad, somewhere in Scandinavia. And I also want continue competing.
