How did you get interested in your skill?
I wanted to have creative, social and developing job, hairdressing seemed like it.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
After I graduated from Kouvola region vocational college I’ve taken part in several training lessons. While working in a salon I’ve taken part in Finnish hairdressing competitions.

3. How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
My college is known for competing in skills competitions, I saw older students compete and instantly felt interested.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
I took part in Taitaja Finnish championship competition in 2013 competing gave me a lot of confidence in working as a hairdresser.

 Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills.
Training to worldskills has been intense, there is a lot to learn in a short time.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Being a worlskills representative has given me great networking opportunities I’ve also improved my skill so much.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I’m studying bachelor’s degree in sales at Haaga-Helia University.

What are your future career aspirations?
I’m looking for job opportunities in sales and educating. Someday I would like to have my own salon.
