How did you get interested in your skill?
It was 9th grade when we were given the assignment to ask local businesses if we would be able to come and learn something about their business and trade. I chose a local flower shop, because I thought that it would be very interesting to work with flowers and plants. And I was hooked from the first bouquet I ever made, and I’m still (six years after) completely in love with this trade!

Where did you do your training for your skill?
I did my training at my school, three days a week.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?  myös kv. kisoihin?

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
No, I just founded my skill on my own

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
I have participated in Taitaja- competition, which is finnish version of skills competition. And the experience that I have from that back ground is very impostant.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
Most memorable moment is definitely winning the semi-finals and to be chosen to represent my country.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills. .
A lot of work and consentration.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
I think, I have grown as a person and developt my skills to a specific point , that I thought I would never reach so fast as I have done, becouse of my training for the competition.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I study in Sastamala Municipal Education and Training Consortium.

What are your future career aspirations?
I hope that some day I will have my one business. Mayde a small flower shop in my home town or a career as a freelance florist.
