How did you get interested in your skill?
As of young age I have been interested in technical areas. Becoming older this interest has only grown, to find out how everything works.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
I studied at Viljandi Vocational Education Centre, but for competitions I have been training at Tallinn Polytechnics.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
When I participated in Estonian national skills competitions.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
Certainly, by myself. But I have also had support from my family and friends.


Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
All moments have been memorable. The most memorable has been winning Estonian national competitions.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
Training for WorldSkills competitions has given me lots of experience. I have gained many new acquaintances, trained to work under big pressure and gained more self-confidence.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
One cannot be ready for WorldSkills type of competitions only on bases on knowledge gained at school. You definitely have to learn and to improve your skills additionally.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
At the moment I work as vocational teacher at Viljandi Vocational Education Centre and partly I also administrate school IT.

What are your future career aspirations?
To be master at my profession.
