1.    How did you get interested in your skill?

I wanted to strengthen the skills of my training course. After, I got more involved until it became in one of my priorities.

2.    Where did you do your training for your skill?

In Cali, at SENA Regional Valle in Colombia.

 

3.    How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?

With the instructors at SENA

4.    Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?

The instructors and relatives.

5.    What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?

I feel very proud of being the representative of Colombia and SENA in WorldSkills, something that has given me experiences and knowledge to be a better person.

6.    Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?

When I hear the National Anthem of Colombia in the opening and closing of the competitions is very memorable, it makes me feel very excited.

7.    Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills

It’s been an ongoing learning.

8.    Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.

It did definitely, 200% I think, because I could strengthen my skills and minimize my weaknesses.

9.    What do you currently do?  Where do you work?

I currently work for ASA INDUSTRIES, a company which has been a great support in this learning process for WorldSkills.

 

10.  What are your future career aspirations?

I want to train future competitors for the gold medal in WorldSkills.
