How did you get interested in your skill?
I thought hairdressing is very fashionable in the beginning, I began to feel more interested after I entered hairdressing school and saw lots of beautiful hairstyles, especially the feeling of proud if I finish creating a style make me deeply like hairdressing industry.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
I have been training in Chongqing Wuyi Advanced Technician School, where Worldskills Hairdressing National Training Base is located.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
I know by my school's advertisement.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
My first professional class trainer Mr.He Xianze and Worldskills Hairdressing Expert Mr.Ji Zhenglong have been teaching me knowledge and skills, help me grow not only in skills also in life career.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
I participated in 3 exchanging competitions: Sino-Australia Exchange competition, Oceania Challenge competition and Cross-strait Exchange competition with Taiwan.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
In New Zealand Oceania competition, first time standing on international award stage to get my metal made me feel I came closer to my dream.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
I have been in a way from local selection to national selection ,from more than 30 competitors to top 8, from top 8 to top 5, from top 5 to top 2, then to the last one. I have learned and grown so much, had good training in both skills and mental. Now I feel very confident to compete with all the competitors from other countries in San Paulo, Brazil.

Yes, participating in the skills competitions and training for Worldskills has taken me great help for my future career. My professional skills, professional accomplishment and psychological quality had obviously big progress.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I'm still a student studying in the school.

What are your future career aspirations?
I hope I can become a top talent in hairdressing industry, also hope I can train lots of skilled people for the industry.
