Now 21, he praises his discipline of Electrical Installations for providing opportunities and opening up doors. “Having a journeyman’s certificate allows you the flexibility to try new things and take your career wherever you choose,” says Fluker. He offers this advice to others seeking a career in skilled trades and technologies, “with all the government support and the rapid progression of the industry, it is an undeniably sound profession to be in.” Fluker not only has a passion for studying the electrical field, he enjoys learning about other countries. He has travelled to ten different countries over the last three years.
