The Terrebonne hometowner, Maxime Gauvreau, trained as a Carpenter in Montreal. At 19 years old, he now works at Goyer & Lanouette. Looking ahead, Gavreau would, “eventually…like to start my own business.” Gauvreau notes that he is colour blind, which made him flunk his driver’s test. “It could have stopped me to push forward in this field,” he says. But, it didn’t. Gauvreau will go on to compete in São Paulo this August in carpentry.
