How did you get interested in your skill?
At school I get a tour and the first thing that I liked was to weld.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
The base did I get from school. I’ve improved myself by doing the internship at Stork. My experience did I get from working there.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
Joery Collier has contact me about that, he also inscribed me for WorldSkills.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
I take an example to Joery Collier. He learned me so much.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
I think it’s an honour to participate at this tournament. It’s a bonus that everything is been organised. It’s a nice experience.


Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
The day I’ve got the price of best welder from Belgium.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
It was weird to have the title of the best welder from Belgium. I enjoyed also the interest of the press.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Because of the training I’ll have, I’ll improve myself. They will prepare me to perform as well as possible.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I’m al welder at Stork. We weld welds for petrochemical companies.

What are your future career aspirations?
I hope in this way to improve my self in this skill.
